Is it a trailering tournament saturday?
They had an image on their site yesterday that showed it was, but they took it down.
Also, why they heck do they make us go to registration to get our boat # on a trailering event? Such an unnecessary hassle.

You have to go on a normal event. Is that a hassle too? Maybe that way all questions can be cleared up on site.

Normal event you're drawing for an actual takeoff number and have to be at the sight anyways for take off. Trailering event it is completely unnecessary, especially since they've started using a texting service.

You go tonight, clear up any issues, get your number, buy some stuff, compete in the flipping contest, then trailer in the morning. Problem solved

I'm all for efficiency, and Basschamps has been the best trail I have seen when it comes to that. They handle take off, weigh in, and award process faster and better than any organization I've seen.

Go with Jarret's advice and have a good time. Your sweating the small stuff..........

Lol so don't trailer. Launch right there like it is a NORMAL tournament and you are not out of your routine or comfort zone. do what you normally do

I'll deal with it. But I don't think having a random draw for boat number and using text service is a bad idea for trailer tourneys.
My main question was whether it was one or not. Just trying to make plans for the morning. I'll call Basschamps.

Its not a random boat number draw with their trailer events, you are issued a boat number, no draw involved. The rules are posted at the registration site for what time you can leave the ramp, what time first cast is, what time last cast is, and time you must be in line with your fish. This ensures that not a single entrant can say they didnt know the rules or didnt get the text.
