Talking with a co-worker today, we discussed maxicrop liquid fish. He said its consistency is more like syrup, but wanted to know if anyone knew if this would work for a mix in cheese bait or even adding it to a sponge bait?
Reading the ingredient, it looks as if it should work. Just wanted to know if anyone has ever tried it.

Menhaden oil is less expensive and as far as I can tell menhaden are basically saltwater gizzard shad.

Yes on the Menhaden oil or a Menhaden type of oil called Chum Slik , the only difference to me is Menhaden oil bleeds out of the bait and comes to the top of the water, the Chum slik bleeds out of the bait but stay in and around the bait it's self. But both work well.
