so, there are lots of different colors for braided line. seems like the mid to dark green would be the best color for our water in this area.

my question is - i see a lot of info about using a black sharpie to color the last few feet of your line to make it less visible. seems to me that a black line would be more visible than a green line.

what is the rationale behind using the black sharpie?

Any color braided line fades. Folks just use sharpies to dye it quick, because its better than that faded white color. You could use a black, green, brown sharpie...whatever u want. I dont bother.
