Is anyone running a manual jack plate with a shallow water anchor attached? I would like to know what brand model you use, adapter plates, etc. Pics would be great!

Thanks for the reply, I am fishing out of an 18 foot boat. On the jackplate what is the advantage of a 12" offset as opposed to 6" for example? I dont really want to extend the length of my boat any more than i have to unless there would be some benefit? I really just want to mount the poles without drilling the fiberglass.

The farther away the prop is from the boat supposedly the more bite and efficient it is because it gets it away from hull turbulence. Not sure if say a 12" is to big for an 18' boat. I would contact the manufacturer and see if they have a certain size they recommend for you boat and motor package. PM me your number and I will send you some pics of my 18' Skeeter with Talons mounted on brackets to a jackplate. I don't know how to do pics on here.
