A line from a song by Mike and the Mechanics goes like this �Every generation blames the one before and all of their frustrations come beating on your door�. It�s true, sometimes younger generations blame the older for the problems in the world and sometimes the older blame the younger for not being up to par. Both are wrong.

In my experience, which is primarily with the hundreds of people who come to Bay Flats Lodge every month, all the generations are really pretty good people. The younger seem to care about things that need to be fixed in this world and the older have a sense of joy in life and hope in the future that�s down right inspiring. And when these two meet good things happen. The world is not perfect, nor are we who inhabit it perfect, but there�s a lot of good out there if you�re willing to look.
