Looking for a reputable shop within driving distance of lake Conroe area to rebuild a 2004 XR6. I’ve seen several out of state shops with seemingly good warranties you can ship your motor to but I’d really rather stay local and be able to deal face to face with should a problem arise.

I don’t mind driving 2 -3 hours for quality work. I suppose what I’m looking for is a recommendation from someone with first hand knowledge of a shops work. Anybody have an outboard rebuilt and was really happy with the work and service from the shop they used?
