Hey Yall-
Im a high school senior and Im looking to get my first jon boat. Not looking for anything fancy, just a flat bottom jon boat. Length 12-14. Aslong as the motor starts and runs I dont really care too much about the HP.
Thanks
Will

Yep, lots of jon boats on Craigslist. 90% don't have titles. DO NOT BUY A BOAT IN TEXAS WITHOUT A TITLE! Not worth the grief. IslandJim

This might not be your cheapest option - but you could look for a porta-bote or similar. Given that you'll be headed to college or similar you'd be able to pack it up and take it with you. Might make it worth the slightly higher investment.
