looking to buy a new topwater setup. I'm thinking something in the 6'6 range since I'm a shorter guy and I fish a lot of walking topwaters and poppers. what's the best topwater rod out there for $100ish. looking at maybe the falcon bucoo 6'6 medium

Limit 5 series Heavy 7'4" is my preferred for top water. thats on walking baits. On a popper I might move to a MH but a medium is too light in my opinion and does allow me to get enough pop on the Pop-R's

MajorCraft NanoAce 6.6m topwater rod. Would work for jerk baits and small cranks. $65.00!

You will like that 66m Falcon. It works very well for poppers and smaller walking baits like a spook Jr. For A little bigger lures, the Falcon 610mh or 7mh are good options as well. Both are really good for a lot of techniques as well as topwater.
Some folks say that fishin on a Sunday is a sin, but if a fish bites my line, you know I'm gonna reel him on in!

Find you an old Allstar topwater rod. Stick to the ones made in Houston.

These are the Buccoo brc-5-166 and the 168 is 68 if you want it a little longer. They also make the Jason Christie 68 rod at the same price point. Its the JCC-68SB. Its labeled as a squarebill spinnerbait rod but would also be good for top water

Falcon Bucco Swim Jig rod now doubles as a topwater rod for me. 7ft 2 in rod. I used to use the Allstar TWS Zell Rowland until I sod it. I had a stupid moment!!
