When fishing lilly pads what do you prefer to do, fish on top of them with a frog or go under them with a creature bait/worm?

My preference would be whatever way they like to eat at that time...can't force feed 'em a particular presentation or bait. Let 'em tell ya what they want.

Swimbait on top, just under the surface, and down to the bottom.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Personally, I prefer to fish under them with a vibrating jig or swim jig. Spinnerbait is good too if they're sparse enough.

Ooh I love buzz baits when there is a little room between them like that! I punch them when they are too thick to swim something through or over.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

Skim a plastic or jig over the top and drop it briefly into the holes and outer edge.
