Just moved to the Austin area a few months ago and looking to hit one of these three. Would like to sight fish, but really looking for the best area lake to hit a bigger fish than quantity. Any suggestions?

Never been to the other two but on Stillhouse you can see the bottom in 20ft of water just about.. Same for Lake Belton

LBJ and Stillhouse are fishing well right now. Some bigguns being caught out of Stillhouse.

Out of those 3 I would fish Stillhouse. It's been producing some lunkers lately and it's one of the clearest lakes in texas. LBJ is not a clear lake

Plus, the majority of the fish on LBJ are done. There are still a few bedders left but they are few and far between.

Stillhouse is clearest lake I have ever seen! Like floating in a bowl of gin. If water is still you can easily count lost lures in bushes that are 30 ft deep.
