I would check out Marine Creek. The bank that parallels 820 is accessible all along the dam. I would try top waters, shallow running cranks, and Tex-rig worms. You can park on the access road that runs next to 820, theres some benchs, and pretty good fishing access. At the very south end is a bridge type structure in some ahallow water, soon maybe now, fish will be in there spawning,..good luck.

The trinity river is full of them, find a good stretch of the river and walk it. Around forest park is good all the up to panther island. I have had success on rooster tails any color and chartuse rapala rattle traps. Message me anytime if you want. I got some pretty good areas.

I have been fishing the trinity the past couple weeks. been doing good on black/green little square bill crank. caught a bass an crappie couple days ago! Try to find a spot thats got some rocks/structure near the bank, I tend to do better around those spots.

Especially since as the weather warms, the rocks are key. Also change a variety of colors. One day they may hit white and shinny spinners, next day may want darker or something chartreuse.

Panther Island. If the water is stained, put on a red/ orange lipless crankbait.
