 Howse Athens fishing right now?

Gonna be at RC for a few days and thought about heading to Athens one morning since I haven't been on it in a couple of years. Grass still around I hope? Water still clear? TIA...

I went last week. Water is crystal clear. Lake was packed full of boats. Found bass on beds but they were all too skiddish from the pressure.

Went today , water crystal clear, caught em off beds all day long off of the west banks. Seen an 8 and a 10 boated by another angler. Grass is healthy and plentiful.

Went monday...didn't stay long...wind was howling..fish I seen on beds were skiddish...heard from a friend that it was on over the weekend before the front...lake looks great...plenty of grass..

Went yesterday and caught 12 with two break offs (Not cking line after catches)...up to 4 lbs. All on flukes. Friend had an 8.6lber and five total the same day on large craws fished deeper. Hydrilla and eel grass everywhere.
