Been last summer, I have a place on the Concho River, lake was bad low. We caught a lot of crappie and whites in the river a few by every big pecan tree sticking out of river. There are a lot of them to try. May try and call Concho Park Marina and ask for some fishing reports. 325-357-4466, they pretty nice folks.

I know for sure that starting in May the Yellow Cats be moving up the Concho and it will be ON!!

Good Luck and post if you go.

I need to book a trip with Randy Wood. I live on PK and cannot bust a grape on Crappie.
Clear Water eats my lunch on the Crappie!

. I dont get over that way anymore...but the crappie always seemed to be in deep water, or around the docks/trees in deeper water...

I fish PK also, but have not been this year as my boat motor is still in the shop. Did pretty well on PK last year and this year I go to the second bridge at Graham and do okay there. I go out with a buddy in his boat but we have not gone to PK yet, we go to Graham and Bridgeport but so far no luck, have only been a couple of times though.

If you can get on ivie in the concho or Colorado arms, there will be fish. Fort Phantom used to hold some decent fish off of structure.

Not today. We turned 6 dozen minnows into 1 crappie and 2 little black bass.
A couple of suggestions for PK.
Fish Costello and north. Water has a little more color.
Use fluorocarbon for all fishing leaders.
Any color is good as long as its chartruse freak
