Caddo lake has always whipped my butt. I have fished it many times with little to no success each time. This year I am dedicating the month of april to finding crappie on Caddo lake. Wright patman is flooded so it's the perfect opportunity for me to stick with it fish or no fish. The only way I have ever fished it is in the bayou. I hear of people catching them there and on the cypress trees. Me and my daughter which is 12 love to crappie fish so I'm hoping to get on them at least 1 weekend of the month. Any help would be great. I don't need your honey hole just a little guidance and different stuff to try.

Try using the search function. There are already a couple of Caddo threads from the last few days.

the location I fish has water 15'the last 4 times I have been there they were suspended 7'-9' and were hitting jigs and minnows both.

it is a 15 min run down the arm. past the bridge you will see water from 12' to 20' just watch for the beaver hut in the middle of the channel from there it is about 5 minutes to the location. I was tying to see what the name of the area is but it is not on any maps.
