Was all the way upriver the Friday before last, did real well with minnows, caught 25, almost all males. Launched at Rebecca, once upriver, you can't get past the Spanish style house unless you have a real low draft boat. Made it through that spot and got another 300 yards up, that's where they were. Have not been back since then, but i'm sure it's still good since there were very few females. Are these being caught on the Guadalupe upsteam from the Rebecca Creek inlet or from Rebecca Creek upstream of the ramp? Just got a kayak I'd like to try out. What's the best lures besides minnows? Thanks.

Texdan, I think Willweg was talking about what is known as the rapids. It is about 4 miles upriver from Ramp 11 at Rebecca Creek. It's where the river narrows becoming very shallow causing audible rapids. The Whites usually stack up there during the spawn. Thanks. So you are talking about the Guadalupe and not Rebecca creek correct?
