Myself and a couple friends of mine were planning on doing some car camping in Big Bend 3/30-4/1.
The group coming are not exactly experienced campers so I am looking for facilities or areas with amenities like flowing water.
I am looking for suggestions on sections of the park or different parks available for car camping.
**Preferably a facility with restrooms.

Thanks!

Last trip there we stayed in the Basin. Camp sites along with a store I assume is still there. Lots of nature and a walk to the Window every sunset.

Chisos Basin, it's pretty spectacular. I'll be around there that weekend as well, but will be backpacking around the South Rim.

Hiked about 10 miles there last year. Stayed at one of the camp sites. Most of the sites have water and they do have a store and a little restaurant. Just be ready for no phone service.
