Water at Fork has been off colored, not quite sure if I have seen it this color for so long (since 1989). Knowing that our grass years back was like a Big Brita filter, however the further South you go it improves the color a little. Water Temps at Night have been anywhere from 57-61 and water was high looks as though they opened gates early last week or prior, by the water underneath my dock a foot or two was released and it seemed to level out with gates mostly closed prior to Tourney(that was nice). Good news is this somewhat adverse situation has not shut Fish down, numbers for me are down compared to years past at this time I will say and thankfully quality is usually there night after night. However it has been a steady drip of action to keep you ready for that next Thump. Baits that have been effective for me lately have been Jigs and 4 to 5 inch Swimbaits in 4 to 10 ft range. Also had a couple more PBs in the past few days, one was a PB and the other was a Fork PB(he fishes here for quite a while now)Congrats Damon and James. Thanks for the read guys.
If you want to try this and can't find a buddy crazy/brave as you are to come to Fork at night, no worries I always have a Solo Special.
