Planning a trip to Rayburn next week and was just going to camp it out. I noticed that Powell Park has boat slips with electric to rent daily for $15 which sounds really nice to not have to launch every day. Is there anything I should know about Powell in general? Are there any other options with rent-able slips on the water I should consider?

I don't think there is another place to rent slips. We've stayed there I don't know how many times. We always used the boat slips and either tent camped or rented a cabin. Good food there also but kind of far from anywhere so make sure you have everything you will need.

Powell is nice. Good little cafe there also. Like their hamburgers.

I'm pretty sure Jackson Hill , and Twin Dykes both have rentable boat stalls. But Powell or J. Hill would be your best options.

Twin Dikes never has separated their stalls from the high water of 2015. Looks like only have one row in use out of 6.
