Hi I've been searching online for a set of axles for my 2006 performance trailer. It has 3 heavy duty axles they are 96" wide 79 1/2 inches at the frame 6 lug 3 and a 1/2 in square V axles. Part number ph-1566. I tried to buy them directly from magic tilt but then I found out that magic tilt isn't even the people that make the axles it's UFP axles and so there's actually 2 middlemen involved in me buying some stupid axles. if anybody has anything ideas that they can give me I'm trying to get these axles without paying too much. well as I understand I have to buy the axles they're made in San Antonio ship to Florida then I buy them from the distributor for magic tilt, who is Joe trailer guy and then he drop ships them to me it's just a bunch of mess. I need freaking axles. If somebody can tell me how to buy 5200 pounds axles in dallas texas for less than a new trailer I would really appreciate some advice.

sounds like it would be easier to have a fab shop build em for you. have the hubs or spindles welded to the size galvanized tubing you need.

If McLains has a Dallas branch I'd go there. Them or Magnum should be able to get you back in business.

The mfgs buy axels, and you can too. I'd get on e-trailer or the internet and they'll have axels that fit your trailer.

There are some standards of measurement that you'll need to follow to ensure you get the exact ones you'll need. Doing it yourself is a pain because of all the rust. Not bad if you have cutting, grinding, and sawing tools. You'll save some money this way.

It's hard to tell from the pictures, but if you change, I'd go with torsion springs over leaf springs for saltwater. They will both corrode, but torsions seem to last longer for me. Good luck

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!

Mark, give McGill's in Lewisville a call.

I don't know that they can do what you need, but it's worth asking.
