So the word is that Toledo Bend is still stained / muddy. On top of the usual baits I'm bringing a white Chatterbait with a white speed craw trailer and a blue black ChatterBait with a blue black speed craw trailer. What is everyone's preferred set up giving these water conditions?

This is my stained water spinner bait that I caught 150 Bass on in Mexico on Lake Oviachic. The river was muddy and nothing else would work. There is no doubt that the bait will work in the shallows of all our big water. The rising water has put lots of bushes underwater.

I have gotten to the point I rarely change up my colors that I normally throw much at all. Green pumpkin and black and blue work everywhere in all water types.

I was on vacation in Missouri and went fishing with a friend who does not bass fish all that much and had to use his gear. Water looked like coffee and cream. I used a fire tiger colored spinner bait with a chartreuse and orange colorado blades and i caught 18 bass an hour for 2 hours straight. my pal caught 3 using live bait. He gave it to me and it is the only spinner bait I use in real dirty water now here in Texas. Is it the color or the confidence, i do not know.
