Just became clued in to this method of finding fish via mapping after watching Brandon Planiuk discuss this on a Navionics webinar. Is anybody else familiar with this method, have you used it, and what kind of success have you found implimenting it in our typical DFW reservoirs?

Haven't heard about this yet. Will look it up as I'm always curious about new ways to potentially catch bass!

I think that video is about 2 years old. From what I remember it's basically a search tactic to find the fish. When doing map study I have tried to keep it in mind, but I don't didn't view as anything new. Hit the main points, then secondary points then back of pockets.

Those that have used my mapping service will recognize quickly that this is the same system that I have been using for 50 years to find the 20 best spots on any lake. It is just a different twist and goes into detail by overlaying the triangle on the section that we are going to find the fish.

It is a very through system and works on any lake helping you find where the fish live and following them along their routes to the shallows as they feed and move in to spawn. Mapping is a lot of hard work and takes many hour of looking at all the maps and satellite views. Most fisherman do not have this kind of time to find all the best spots. I am willing to do that for you. Just follow Mr. Planiuk's advice and try a couple of spots; it will change the way you fish and locate fish.

Each person you work with holds some promise to your future success.

I like it. It concentrates people to the same areas so I can go find fish and don't have to worry about people finding them.

I'm approach it like Donald does, as do most of the successful guys I know.

Brandon's triangle concept is solid, and I have seen it described by others including Iaconelli and Donald Harper in their own words. As with most things, it's not 100% true in every situation but it's a great concept to understand especially when the fish are actively moving from one seasonal hang-out to another.

I watched his seminar on the triangle when I subscribed to the Bass University. I think its great. If I'm clueless on a body of water I use it.
