Heading down to fish these lakes from Thursday to Sunday. Any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm not a fan of Belton but I love Stillhouse. I always have my best luck in the river portion of Stillhouse. I mainly flip/pitch up there. There are good fish to be had up there. Just make sure you watch your GPS very carefully. It can get dicey if you don't pay attention. Lots of grass in Stillhouse on the main lake. However, the water is gin clear. Topwaters work very well and so do finesse worm in the grass. Think natural colors. Lots of timber on the main lake too. It's easier to run than the river though.

We just got to Belton to fish until Sat for the first time as well. We are specifically trying to target smallmouth and check off a bucket list item! If we have any luck figuring them out then I will let you know!

Belton water temp. on 3/13/18 was 58.4 degrees at 3:00 P.M.
