I used my Ultrex TM while trolling for the first time today and caught a dozen Hybrids between 4 and 7 lbs in 2 1/2 hrs. Being able to drive and adjust the speed with the remote while using the auto pilot was great. Also, I know a lot of people doubt the Hydrowave, but I saw it work today. I found bait hugging the bottom in 40 feet and went back over them with the Hydrowave cranked up using the loudest sound they have and I saw the bait and fish move up from the bottom to my boat while watching the fish finder. That got the Hybrids within my reach and after that it was on!!! I guess now I am going to have to buy some of those Lithium batteries.

Impressive. I believe it. I used to think thumping was voodoo magic until I did it myself and saw the difference. I'll try drift (or slow trolling) with my thumper to see if that works with hybrids.
