Been several years since I have fished it, but has anyone been to Lake Meridian this year? Looks like it has been stocked with some sharelunker offspring in the past years. Just curious as to whether it has been producing any quality fish. I remember when I used to fish it more frequently that the fish always seemed to be in somewhat poor shape...

My friend went a few months ago and he didn't get a bite. He even said he couldn't mark any fish with his graph.

I went two weeks ago on the kayak. I fished the entire day from shallow to deep waters and everything in between and only managed two very small bass. I haven't been able to pull anything of size out of that lake.

About 90% is bank fisherman and they keep everything they catch... So anything legal goes into the ice chest. The fish populations seems to be low for the size of the lake, but it gets a LOT OF PRESSURE 12 months of the year....

This has been my experience every time I’ve been there.

My favorite lake. It has some huge fish in it if you know where to look. We have taken several fish in the 13 class. Best time to go is when they stock it with trout.

Went last weekend and caught them on lipless crank. In the afternoon. Hard to fish it due to being windy.
