Never owned one but driven plenty of vehicles with 4.3 liter v-6's and they are pretty capable little motors, should be able to tow most boats fine. I wouldn't want to tow a pontoon or a heavy deep v with it, but should pull any of your average bay/bass/etc. boats fine, probably wont feel overpowered lol and probably wont win any races.

They dont have the 4.3.

Hmm I guess I missed them getting rid of it. I'm sure the 3.6 will do fine as well.

Aren't they putting a diesel in those now? I don't care for the looks at all, but it should pull a medium sized boat ok.

!!

Depends on the weight of the boat.
Bigger the boat the more truck you need.
SOL has an aluminum bass bat he pulls with a half ton six cylinder.
Eighteen foot fiberglass boat with heavy motor might require a 3/4 ton diesel.

Check your boat and trailer gross weight adainst the rated capacity of the truck.

Its not difficult to determine.

The last I read up on them, The Colorado and Canyon don't have the best in crash test reviews.
