Selling my boat tomorrow and need to transfer all my waypoints to my desktop (or whatever is easiest) from a Humminbird 898. I also have a Lowrance Elite 7 that I need to transfer. I have a Navionics Hotspot SD card in the 898 that I removed. The Lowrance has a port for an SD card, but I never put one in it. Does it have all the waypoints in it or are they actually in the unit itself. Want to sell the boat...not all my spots! LOL. Techno dummy reaching out! HELP ! ! !

All waypoints are stored in the units memory. Follow the instructions on this link. Lowrance should be fairly easy as well. https://www.humminbird.com/Category/Support/FAQ/Convert2GPX/To delete waypoints goto setup menu, select format nav directories.

Cool Thanks 44! Went to Youtube and got some of the info. I'm getting data from two units. Can I put it all on one SD card?

I would think so, they are both different formats So it shouldn't cause any confusion
