Heading up to wind point park to camp out for the rest of the week. Any sand bass action going on up there or should we launch somewhere south of the bridge to find them?

I was there Friday and the lake was still really muddy from all the run off. We marked fish but couldn’t get anything to bite.

Going to be tough...
Catfish are up shallow

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Yea I kinda figured with the floods the striped fish would be tough. Def gunna target catfish as well. Just always fun for a change of pace from drift fishing.
