I heard of a guy that makes over $100k picking up dog poop.

I've heard those rumors as well.

My full-time job pays about that. And that's good but I'm always looking for a way to spend free time making a little change and trying to retire early.

It's another 30 years until I can draw Social Security. But I'm tired already I don't want to have to work another 30!

I'm by no means perfect. But I do consider myself a moral man LOL.

That said I applied for an operations manager position with Los Zetas but they haven't replied.

Go back to school and become a nurse. You could work PRN. One of my friends does that. She works 9 days a month, 12 hour shifts... she makes $38/hr, but no benefits since she's not full time. Or learn another trade...

This only works in affluent neighborhoods where you can charge up to $5 bucks a tird. The going rate where I live is only a nickel, and that's for the whole pile.

I've got a career. And a pretty good one. I'm just looking for ideas to kind of make some cash on the side. You know with free time.

Buy stuff fix it up and sell it, lawnmowers, cars and trucks, tractors, trailers. Build woodworking and metal working projects to sell like furniture or BBQ pits. I like this type of stuff because I am not committed to anything on my days off. If I would rather go fishing or hunting instead of working on something I can. Plus I can still drink beer while working on these little projects.

No. $10/hr more than she was working nights. Nurses start out at $24-$25/hr around the metroplex, and shift differential isn't all that great. They make their money on overtime.

Where I worked the starting pay (new grads) was $25.75 / hr with three guaranteed raises that brought them up to $31.75 hour in one year. Night diff was $4.50 hour and weekend pay (fri night until mon 7am) was $6.00 hour. For example a nurse with one plus year experience could make Up to $42.25 hour. Expert nurses could start at $42-45 hour + diffs. Lot of overtime was available as well as bonuses starting in the fall through early spring. 12 shifts per 28 days was full time.
