This question concerns us boat owners who keep boats outside. I have my covered all the time and is shaded most of the day.What iam asking ya ll is do you treat the cover with water repellant spray to help shed water or what you do. Thanks for your input.

3M Scotchguard. Or Sunbrella . Some Ace Hardware stores carry the Sunbrella speay product for waterproofing & UV lprotection. Scotchguard doesn't have the UV protection but is excellent for waterproofing. I use it on the cheaper canvas covers. Spread cover out upside down, soak it down, let dry, do second time, let dry again. Flip it over & do top side 2 coats letting each coat dry before applying second coat. Seals,waterproofs, & keeps fibers soft. Takes anout 3 cans for a 20' cover.

Thanks curtbass ill give it a try, yes cover has seen better days.But got another project to do before new cover, that's new seats for p2 or recover. Curt I had talked to another f.f. member few times that mentioned you. T racer. Thanks again.

Yessir. Tracer is a great guy. He's got a lot of common sense & is like a sponge soaking up info & applying it using that common sense. He's pretty daggum sharp.
