Went fishing half a day friday sun was going down made my final cast near a tree stump i thought i got stuck the rod feel out of my hand and i pulled this in. I didnt have a scale so im wondering if anyone would give a guess at the weight im guessing around 7. I was close 2 inches short for new sharelunker program. Nothing like making a catch like this on your last cast of the day. The mouth is all the way against the pump board i know i should use a marker against the board just havent done it yet.

Very nice! If you ever want a kayak partner around those Sherman pond-lakes.. let me know. I am an old cuss but generally not skeered of much.

I was going to stop by there Friday afternoon after an appointment I had but got stuck with one more last minute appointment after it and had to drive on by. Noce fish!

What all lakes up there can you fish from a kayak? Im at 75/380 and always enjoy exploring new water. Need to hit coffee mill and crocket near it some time I know too... Gotta love Texas, so mamy lakes, so little time to fish them all!

Timbertoes I think you and skmeone else fished Muenster from kayaks while I was out on my pond prowler there one weekend a few years back.

I really want to go hit up the lilly pads and clearer water on Hubert M. Moss aka Moss Lake again by gainesville too, thats a cool little lake that doesnt see much pressure coz annual boat ramp pass is like $35 and its a bit out of the way. Good size lake to paddle too or take a smaller boat and not feel too slow to explore it all.

Must have been someone else then... I could have sworn it was you and another member, maybe it was collincountytx and someome else. It's been a few years. I've been shamefully inactive on tff and my fishing habits have matched. Trying to get back to doing more of what makes me happy this year, which means getting my [censored] on the water every chance possible. Went and washed the skunk off my new (to me) revo11 and got my first bass of 2018 at prosper lake last night after work actually. Still need to settle on a heading for the weekend... Cant decide between large or small reservoir with the flood waters
