Taking my two sons to Fork for a few days of bass fishing Sunday. Took them few years ago at this time and caught a few. Boys been buggin me to go back even since. How is the water clarity since the rains? Dad needs all the help he can get to put my boys on a few fish. Staying at Fishermans cove. Thanks

Water is looking better, run some spinners and work some lizards

If it was easy, everyone would do it

Just got back from 4 days of some tough fishing, but we managed a few. All were males. I can tell you most all water from Williams Creek to northern Birch is chocolate milk. Sunday and Monday we were our better days and Tuesday and Wednesday was tough fishing. Front blew through Tuesday and really slowed it down. All fish were caught on white/chart 3/8 chatterbait with white/chart magic shad trailer, blk/blu 5" senko and red/chart 1/2oz lipless crank. Water temps up in Birch ranged from 58-63. We did find an area holding 65 on Monday. I did notice water was dropping fast Tuesday. If I were you, I'd wait till end of March. Full moon, water release and clarity should be better provided we don't get heavy rain again. If you do go, find the warmest water and fish tight to cover in the dirty water. Good luck!

take some shiners on bobbers and pitch them next to the dormant vegetation. They will get bit that way for sure. warmer water is best don't mind the color so much

I'd rather be lost on the water than found at work!

We caught 5 yesterday, 8 the day before and 8 the day before that. Most on a weightless black and blue crawdude 1-3 feet.. Caught a few on a split shot watermelon red fluke with the tail dipped in 3-4 feet. Throwing most right up to and in to the slop.

Will be here 3 more weeks. Should hit it somewhere in that time.
