Hey gang, My family is spending a few days at Tyler SP next week for spring break. We like to fish, and like to eat them, not too picky on the species but it'd be fun to put my kids on some active bass catching. We'll be limited to bank and pier fishing, and can go for bass, catfish, even the trout if they're still alive, sunfish of course, and crappie if there's a good place for them.
Any and all help would be appreciated.
Yes, Brazos is my real name.

I haven't been there in forever, but I would think targeting catfish this time of year would be easiest. On the south east end of the lake is a creek feeding in. I would get some MINNERS OR WORMS and try the shallows close to the mouth of the creek. It should be easy pickins for the family. Let us know how it goes

Haven't been to Tyler State Park since the 1980's. The water was so super clear back then.
On average, your heart beats 100,000 times a day. One day, one of those heartbeats will be your last. Then what?
The answer is found in Jesus Christ who said "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
