Fort Worth nature center...in the warmer weather be aware they have gators in that area...big ones.

Take a one hour trip down to Glen Rose, fish Wheeler Branch for a small fee . . . and you'll just have experienced the best, the tops, in terms of water clarity, right size of lake for kayakers to cover well, depth (80'), no worries about your vehicle being robbed, etc.
And, it can be a great LMB fishery especially during the spawn and post spawn seasons. Right around the corner!

As mentioned 32.760044, -97.338599 and 32.843059, -97.465895. Others spots that can be good are
32.809298, -97.466933
32.827360, -97.396569
32.630094, -97.467066
32.707445, -97.210479
Not sure I would eat anything from 32.809298, -97.466933 from what I've heard.

If you are on Facebook go check out the Trinity Bass Battle. It is an awesome little kayak tournament series hosted in FW on the Trinity River. Super cheap, super fun, super low-stress.
