Just noticed one of the the steering cables on my Motorguide is fraying under one of the flywheels/rollers on my foot pedal. Is this a better (safer) job for Southwest Parts??

I could be mistaken, but I don't think Southwest Parts services trolling motors anymore. That's what I was told when I went for a part for my fortrex last year

I have done it on a MotorGuide... If it's one of the digital tours the only trick was having to partially lift the black plastic rotor off of the shaft in the head to get the cable around it.. Tough to explain without diagrams but you can figure it out... Get er done
