Has anyone fished The Clear Fork at 377 (Whiskey Flats) in the last few days? I have not but i have heard of it being good in the past. Where exactly is it? I am in fort worth as well and I am looking for new spots this spring. Is is west of benbrook?

Has anyone fished The Clear Fork at 377 (Whiskey Flats) in the last few days? Is that the one that goes into benbrook on the southwest side? I saw a line of cars park down by the river at 377 and 1187.

That's a very good sign. The more cars and trucks, the more fish. It can be an excellent spot, you need to watch for hybrids mixing in with the sandbass.Minimum length on hybrids is different and daily bag limit is different too.

I saw several cars there sunday, which is a good sign. Over the years I've had some good days out there when the water was right. This is the first time in 4-5 years there has been enough water for a (potentially) decent Sand Bass run. I'll try to get out there sometime this week and report back if anything is happening.
