Thinking about buying an Ultrex or Terrova, putting on my TR20X, currently a 101 Maxxum would an 80lb have enough thrust and would batteries die after 6-7 hrs? ie Amistad, Falcon?

I'm sure it would move your boat for most any fishing situation unless it is windy. However, I doubt you would be satisfied with the loss in power capability.

Very little difference in price between 80 and 112lb ultrex or terrova. Stick with a 112

have an 80 on a TX21 Triton.
works very well, didn't have room for a 3rd battery!!!
runs 2 days if the wind isn't brutal.
if you have room for 3 batteries, 36v is the way to go.

I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning !!!

Have the room, have 4 new right now. Should stay with the 36v.
