Had the pleasure today of having Mr. Barton and his crew out on Lewisville for some fishing. Once again we looked around for a few hours for some willing crappie but it was just too muddy and they didn’t want to bite. So we chased some sandies and they found a few fat ones today. They ended up with 43 nice fish and left with 3 gallons of fillets for a company fish fry. All fish caught on jigs, ultra light rods and 6 lbs test. Those giant sandies are a blast on light tackle and will be biting for the next 2 months like this.
