What situation/condition are you grabbing one over the other?

Me this time of year mostly jig. I think youll catch more numbers on brush hog but imo jig gets me better tournament fish. But if Im not getting bit enough to put 5 in then Ill definetly throw brush hog.

Always have a fair sized trailer on your jig this time of the year? Had a few decent bites on a 3/8oz without a trailer but losing faith in a larger jig with a stoke king craw trailer.

No I personally like low profile trailers. To each their own. I use Zman trailers. Last forever. Uncle Josh pork was awesome but cant get anymore.

We put the jig right beside the Brush Hog in Mexico for weeks on end. The Brush Hog always wins on numbers and have not seen the difference in any bigger fish on the jig. The jig is also getting many more chances than the Brush Hog as it does not have to be adjusted like the Brush Hog does on a Texas Rig.

I use both. I use a 1/2 oz. to 3/4 oz. football mop jig with a full size brush hog. they can not stand it.
