Beautiful - better catchin a big one at a slot lake x1000 than not catchin one elsewhere.

Still a fantastic catch and I can feel ya ..3 of us had a 40 + lb sack last Feb (night not a tourny) including a 10.2,9.2,8.? 7.11,7.4 and the 7.4 was the only over.
In order to catch Big Fish..Sometimes you gotta Suffer.

I bet you've caught crappie thicker than that fish. That's why Fork is what it is. Just a shame that the grass has not really came back. If it would come back like it was in the early 90's, oh man, it would be awesome, but the boats would be thicker than fleas on a dog's back.

Nice catch Joel, rare deal there, well done. Watched lots of boats roll through Penson, no body catching that I saw...Every one was fishing fast, even with worms ...

Awesome catch, Joel. Did you leave your fish stretchers at home? That's a gorgeous fish. It's just not fair to catch one like that in a tourney and have to release it.

Congrats on the DD. I was surprised how well they bit yesterday. My best five slots went about 29#s. A great day of fishing in my book.
I hate photobucket.

Nice fishy!
Years ago I witnessed a SAL that was 13.25 that went 23" X 23" Cameron weighed it at LFM. Talk about a butterball!

Was Fishing Oilmans Tournament on Fork a few years ago with a East Texas Buddy of mine, we had one of the BEST days of fishing either one of us had ever had in our forty + years of fishing and couldn't bring a fish to the scales, between the two of us we probably boated 30 + fish between 4 and 9lbs , I had 1 that was 23 1/2" and over 10 lbs Still love Lake Fork
