Had the pleasure today of having Bryce and his nephew Aiden out on Lewisville looking for some crappie. We ran all over the lake, fished thru storms and pouring rain and found muddy water everywhere. We never found any crappie wanting to bite. Thought I found some crappie and they ended up being some fat sandies. They boated 15 really nice ones and missed a bunch of bites in the muddy water. Hopefully the bite will pick back up and the fish will move back where they have been in a few days. The good news is we have a lot of water for both the white bass and crappie spawns in our lakes finally. All fish caught today on jigs slow rolled just off the bottom. Go to www.ntxfishing.net or contact me at 973-342-8803 to book a crappie, white bass or blue cat trip.

Those crappie don't like water fluctuation at all. Falling water during the spring will mean a poor shallow bite.

With all the weather changes we have had I am surprised you were able to find any fish that would bite.
Good job putting your customers on some big sandies.
