I don't think any elite guy is in a Falcon. John Hunter and Brian Latimer in FLW run them.

Why are they amazing? Is it how the locker lids open, because that would be something that makes me feel uneasy about purchasing one. I always have rods on the deck.

Next time I go through Temple, I want to check them out. I do like that they are made of composite. The back compartment and rod locker are interesting.

Yes the Falcon striper boats were ugly but they weren't meant to be "pretty" only functional. The 'new' Falcon Bass boats have an appeal to certain fisherman. Talked with some guys recently who said they are fast and handle rough water. I haven't ridden in one but I am skeptical when someone makes that claim. IMHO nothing handles (handled) rough seas like a Champion hull.
