The boat lanes chip Lance Vick sells only works for Lowrance and Humminbird. Haven't heard of one for Garmin. Might try googleing it.

Lowrance files (.usr) can be converted to Garmin files (.gpx or whatever) on your PC using GPS Babel or GPS Visualizer, which are free. Or, the Garmin may load the .usr files, I don't know. They are just waypoint files in different formats.

I uploaded a couple of files downloaded from Arkansas Fish & Game in the .gpx format (for Garmin) to my Lowrance this weekend, which I didn't know it would do.

Most Boatlanes trails will not be displayed correctly on Garmin units because Garmin unit software does not support tracks with track-segments. Until Garmin corrects the unit's software, NO.

One can do a workaround, but the solution is not pretty.

As a Garmin user, I would recommend you call Garmin Support that Track-Segmentation is not supported by Garmin.
Let us know what Support says....

I have the boatlanes for a Lowrance. It is from 2013 but they are just waypoints on the map. No tracks or anything. Would that work?

Awesome info. Thank you for that. I am going to try that and let you know how it looks with my unit.

Current Boatlane's trails are now displayed with tracks & any waypoints are informational.

Pretty sure you have the old Boatlanes.
