Didn't make this one so I don't have a fishing report. From looking at the leader board, big fish were hard to come by. Lots of dinks. Tough bite today. Somebody will probably chime in with a report. DIV II had 19 teams entered and DIV I had 12 teams enter. Next tournament is on Millwood in Arkansas. DIV II DIV I

Congrats to the winners!! Cool seeing lots of new folks fishing! I liked that lake a year and a half ago! She punched us in the mouth yesterday! Prefished a couple hours Friday and had 2 1.5 fish and 20 keepers. Had hopes for Sat but that wasn't the case! Weeded through probably 100 crappie and who knows how many sand bass to end up with 9 dink keepers that we were glad to have! Oh well! Onto the next one!!

Lewisville fishes tough for a tournament this time of year. Fish are mainly on bridges (one really) or in the creeks. Most people choose the bridges (one really) and you get heavily pressured fish on that bridge.

It was so funny for us yesterday. I had forgotten that the CAT tournament was going on. When we got to the bridge I counted 21 boats under that sucker. I said to my partner they must be stacked under there with the looks of this boat show. Stayed for a minute and saw two dinks pulled in 45 minutes. Left there and went all the way up Hickory Creek. Crazy how much pressure it has gotten this year.

Is Paul O'Bier still fishing CAT? Think he's gonna fish a few. Giving the regular folks a chance to win a few this year!! I sure didn't expect the number of people under that bridge. Prefished it a couple hours Friday afternoon and there were 3 boats on it maybe. I figured the rain would keep sensible people at home!! I was wrong!!!

That was fun. Jacky Wiggins and I took 1st in division one. I thought it would be a shootout at the weigh in but it looked like most teams struggled in both divisions.

Most people choose the bridges (one really) and you get heavily pressured fish on that bridge. I talked with Ernest earlier today and he said all of the years he has fished Lewisville, this time of year you only fish Docks or Bridges. Guy and I knew that pattern would put 7 fish in the box and decided against that rule and went to running and gunning. and in the end, ended up on a bridge. We did hit the Toll Bridge 1st thing but that bridge can be hit and miss and it was a big miss. Oh also for those that paid to launch at the Little Elm ramp check your bill. The pay station was messing up and was very faint to read with a bunch of lines going through it. I got my ticket but it shows I paid $75 for a season pass. I called Little Elm today and they credited the $75 back to my card. It was good to see everyone and congrats on the leaderboard. Well deserved. Good luck to those fishing Millwood. I will see y'all at Crappiefest.
