Solid lake with good quality, will take a 4 1/2 average to win most 60-140 team events with a 6-7 lb big fish. Fishes shallow most of the year but can be good deep at times. Lots of docks and timber. Has duckweed most years. Be careful running and stay in the channel, areas that look clear are that lake can be dangerous, even out in the middle.

Lake is very low right now, lots of timber right under the water. Lake has some good fish but not a lot of fish over 6 1/2 pounds.

Can u even get on the lake right now? I would say yes but I'm not 100% sure The ramps suck when it's gets low. Hell they suck when at normal level lol.

Unless they have improved ramps in the last few years, the only ramp that would be usable at 4ft plus low is the far north ramp, and that use to be all 4 wheels in the water at 4 feet low.

Lake was just about full I think early last summer and I had to get all 4 tires in the water to float the boat off the north ramp, doesn't make it safe either when the locals treat the ramp like the local water park... I would think the south ramp on the limestone county side would be the best when the lake is low but I may be wrong, think there is also a newer private pay ramp near the dam on leon county side that might work when the lake is down.
