Hey guys, looking to take an old buddy put either chasing sand bass or crappie this weekend. Anyone have reports on crappie and where to look on Palestine? Or is chasing the sand bass be more of a good time?

Have seen people doing well on several different patterns. Folks at the ramp in the last few days with coolerfuls from the bridge. There have also been lots of good fish staging in 5-10' close to spawning areas on this last full moon getting ready. The last few weeks we have caught nice fish on deep submerged timber in the river channel from 30-40'. Lots of ways to catch them right now. That being said, the hybrids have been hungry and plentiful for the last two months and are still going strong. Good luck and post up a report of how you did
