Left the marina today at 12.00 and loaded up at 5.15. Water temp is 49 degrees. Fish were caught in 33-35ft of water deadsticking. Everything today was caught on 3 inch chartreuse Bovenator plastic with a Bovee jig tied 14 inches above it. I tried lifting the lures and presenting them with a side to side motion but they wanted it dead still. I was at mid lake along the levee where the trees are but just out of the trees and using my thumper the fish would come out of the trees in small groups the hit my lures.11 Hybrids 19 sandbass 2 catfish. Not a home run day but better than I expected. SeaPro Todd is posting the pics for me. Since photobucket went down, I am having a hard time with pictures. All of the sandies were males and as they were being lifted into the boat they were spraying sperm out. They are getting close to making that run to spawn.
