I'll probably go Saturday. Anyone know the current lake conditions? H2O temps on the north end would be appreciated. TIA.

You caught 2 more than I did. I fished hard all day and never got anything that could've been mistaken for a bite, until just before dark when I hung one at the 377 riprap in Buck. I barely saw the fish before it came unbuttoned, but it was pretty good size. I'm not even sure it was a bass by the way it was fighting. Weather was cold and windy all day. Water temps 47-48 from buck to the 922 bridge in isle dubois.

It's tough going from fishing Welsh a week ago to RR yesterday. From feast to famine.

Used to fish the heck out of that lake when we lived in DFW. Water was always clear and not a lot of vegetation. I did well on crappie and sand bass using a little George or H&H (old school I know) down deep over brush. Must have been 15' of water in the early spring.

The best luck I had there was wade fishing some flats near isle de boise (spelling) state park. Same method as above.

Go get em
