Hit the Guadalupe below canyon lake dam to see if I could catch some of the bigger trout TU stocks. Figured since the blue blood moon hits early tomorrow morning it would be a good day & it was. 8 rainbows and 1 brown on my go to lure in 2 hours of fishing. Nothing on others I tried. The fly fishermen might not appreciate me catching their fish on a bass plug but, I'm not into fly fishing. Besides I routinely catch more and bigger fish with that plug that what I see any of them catching.
I've heard some say the lunar tables don't really work in the rivers, I disagree. I timed my arrival for the major today and they bit well, then like clockwork shut down when it was over.
All fish released even tho a couple were over the min. length to keep one.
