When scanning, no matter which side of the boat is near the bank, the left sode of the side scan is darker than the roght. It is way easier to see the rocks, bait, etc. on the right. I have tried reseting sonar and 800 amd 450. 450 seems to have a better image, but does not solve the issue. Any help is appreciated

Is your motor blocking the left side range. If so try trimming the motor until it is clear.

Also check and make sure the transducer is level both front-to-back and side-to-side.
