What is the best ramp to use on the North side of Lake Grapevine, Twin Coves or Murrell Park? Does Murrell have a courtesy dock? Thei website says no but Google maps shows one there on satellite view.

Murrell does have a fairly new courtesy dock ramp in good shape. Either ramp is good Twin or Murrell.

Murrell is not very inclined/shallow But FREE (easier to launch with 2 guys 1 in boat). Twin coves I like a little more inclined/easier to launch but cost money. I now have a yearly permit for twin coves.

Thanks guys. I put in at Murrell today and it was ok. It was very shallow like you said. Twin Coves looked nice but I wonder how the South wind in the summer affects launching there. Murrell being free was nice.

You do any good yesterday? Went out for a couple hours after church. Nice day but no luck...

I didn't catch anything. I did do some damage to a great burger over at Big Daddy's Ship Store though. It was darn tasty.

"Big Daddy's" My wife hopes the fishing is slow just to get over there to eat a burger and fries. Best around in my opinion!
